“Low Key” Classes in Eindhoven

To our great delight, we recently learned of the Volksuniversiteit (literally, “the people’s university”), which is the equivalent of community classes, for both adults and children offered in various villages.  Your local Gemeente should be able to tell you if you have such an institution affiliated with your town.  Classes are taught in Dutch and may include art appreciation, children’s performance theater, yoga, etc.  It’s a good opportunity to do something, small, charming and supportive and get to know members of your local community.
